sexing of t. miurus??

Post by congodrew »

First off, can you sex a puffer to begin with? The only thing i have been able to get info on is how to sex the dwarf puffers. Ive found sexing info on other carinotetradon species as well. Does it have to do with their genital papilla and the size of their vent (if they even have a vent)? I have a 2" brick red T. miurus that is gettin named either rojO or rojA. AYUDAME AMIGOS!
thanks...drew

Replied in the other thread, but in a word or two, you cannot tell.

Only the species of Puffers who are sexually dimorphic can be visually sexed. All others would require an internal examination.
