Getting myself schoutedeni

Post by Denise1K9II »

I’m new to puffers and i was looking for some schoutedeni. I’ve actually found 2! Now i was wondering if there is any way to sex them considering they’re so small.

They’re going to be kept in a new (4 week cycled) tank of 200L. Are there any successes with then living together with dwarf puffers?

Also, i’m trying to attach a picture of the two schoutedeni. But here’s a link!

Absolutely do NOT mix puffer species! Schoutedeni actually do quite well in groups, if the tank is large enough & there are lots of broken lines of sight. You could probably add 1 more & a few other fast-moving fish. There is no way to sex them. Some folks have had success breeding them.
