Ask umbrella, I've only had mine for I don't know how long, like maybe a month or two? Coolest little guy.
How the Modestus comin' along, PP? Can we get some more pictures? Hope the dentistry went well. What method?

It took about 4 years before I finally had to trim my modestus' teeth.

Re: Auriglobus Silus PufferPedia Addition?
The pictures are going to have to be MUCH better quality than that.
Specifically, we need to be able to see the physical differences between the Modestus and Silus, otherwise its pointless to have separate listings for both species (since they have nearly the same basic requirements and look so similar).

Re: Auriglobus Silus PufferPedia Addition?
Actually, Myaj, I have found that the Modestus is slightly larger generally than the Silus, and has a darker green/ metallic green color. However, the Silus is almost a shining golden yellow. It is only really difficult to tell the difference in the juvenille stage, and we're contemplating the ID of some of Umbrella's Silus'. He wanted me to post pictures of mine and it's belly, so I did. I don't really plan on having any of these pictures go into the PufferPedia.
Oh, yeah, and I've also discovered that the Modestus is much pickier when eating than the Silus. My silus accepts bw and fd krill, but my Modestus only used to accept fd krill. I could never get him to eat frozen bloodworms, no matter what I did (INCLUDING the Garlic method ) I'm trying to get a hold of some mealworms to chop 'em up and see if he eats 'em.
Again, sorry if you got the impression that these pics were supposed to go in the PufferPedia, I was just trying to help out Umbrella with IDing his. We are emailing each other back and forth editing it with info, and when we BOTH decide what would be a good picture(s), we will email the PufferPedia to PufferPunk (or whoever you guys want), and you guys can review it at your discretion.
Thanks!

Try a small earthworm, almost no puffer can resist a spazzing worm.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.
