Puffer owner

Post by Kira32 »

I have a figure eight puffer. Got him on a whim did tons of internet searching and can say he is a very happy healthy little ball he's close to two inches now very playful when I sit at the tank with him. Today I picked up a green spot who is just a little smaller then puff (figure eight) spot my new gsp got my attention when I saw him with four others and he swam up to the glass and started to twirl around looking at me. I know they will have a good size difference and I plan to move spot when he's to big currently they are in a 13 gl I know this is small but they are good so far. I come from a family of fish lovers my dad has a 13 29 55 125 175 and a 250.... Does anyone have suggestions on the best things to feed the little puffs

I wish you hadn't bought him. That tank isn't even large enough for your F8. I suggest setting up a 30g for the GSP to grow into.

I know the tank isn't going to be good enough for them as they grow. I plan to get a larger tank they are both small right now though I'm hoping to get a 35gl possibly larger in the future

35g would be good for the GSP.
