Green spotted puffer care

Post by Lizzzi »

I just got a GSP at our local pet store a week ago & he or she seems to be doing great. I have it in a small tank for now but I plan to transfer into one of my 30 gallon tanks. I wonder if I should use bottled spring water for the new tank or just use tap water with the water conditioner. Also I’m adding marine salt. I do have an already established tank with an African cichlid which I plan to move & maybe put GSP in his tank since it is already cycled. Although I would add salt. Does anyone have advice for which would be best? New tank with spring water & marine salt? Or already cycled tank with adding marine salt?

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
