Good Morning ladies and Gents,

Living in Greenville and just setup a 55 gallon tank for 2 Leopard puffer fish I feel that I have excellent water circulations with a 100 gallon air pump and a Sun Sun Canister filter. I have purchased 2 Java Ferns to entertain the puffer fish and looking to find someone hopefully around the area with some freshwater snails. To see if I could snag some for a farming tank. :ugeek:

I have been deeply investigating puffer fish and the water quality never owned a puffer fish but worked with African cichlids in my Dad's tank and I've had a community tank in the past.

any advice or help with building a snail population would be helpful

Check the large pet shops for pest snails in their tanks. You can also buy starter breeding stock off Aquabid or Ebay.

I recently bought 10+ Malaysian Trumpet Snails for my snail tank I am building but didn't know if those would be the best since they take a long time to mature

For Leopard puffers will Malaysian trumpet snails be good food for their little beaks? or are the shells too hard ?
