Welcome :)
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

I have 2 GSP's set up in a 125g reef ready aquarium. Its fresh water now, but I have started (as of yesterday) adding a little aquarium salt to start bringing up to BW. I want to add 2 more to the tank, but not sure if I should...also...one other question...is it ok to have gravel on the bottom? Or should I change it out to sand? If so, why? I am not well versed in aquarium lingo...so bare with me. I also have an oscar in the tank for the time being...once he gets a little bigger, I will rehome him with my neighbor who has oscars. (I bought him at the same time as my puffers, not knowing anything about them when I bought them)...so far, they like each other and don't fight or nip at each other. But I know its a bad idea so I won't leave him in there any longer than necessary. I can't seem to get any good pics of my little guys, but it doesn't stop me from trying ha ha ha! I will post some pics soon...I promise!

hello Ash,
Just wondering if you knew there was a difference between "Aquarium Salt" and "Marine Salt"? It is that latter that should be used ;)
