Whoa pufferpunk I take a bit of offense from that, who is to say goths are not nice? Many of them (including my goth self) are maybe some of the nicest people that you will meet. Many sterotypes are aimed towards us cause we are different and people don't like it because they are insecure (not trying to say this to offend anyone) with not being able to influence others personal choices. People are different to be themselves not to be judged by others...goth, punk, beach bum/cali kid, biker, prep, and whatever else out there are just names and or titles given out. They truley mean nothing. Titles are as cheap as words, its the person behind the title and their personality that really matters...

Sorry, no offence intended at all! :D After being part of the underground punk rock scene for 10 years & a biker for another 10 (now there is no label for me, just "Pufferpunk"!). I have about 1/4 of my body tattoed & around 20 piercings (most of them above my neck). I go to people's homes to groom their pets for a living, some very affluent. I never have seen anyone hesitate to let me in. I have learned that the biggest, hairiest, baddest-looking biker can really be a teaddybear. That's why I put those labels to you in italics. I'm sorry you've been judged so harshly by others.

I am rather surprised by this thread. I guess when someone says "aquarium hobbyist", tattoos and harleys aren't the first things tha tcome to mind.
