Its time to submit your puffer photos for display in the 2008 Puffer Forum Calendar!

Last year's calendars were a huge success, and I'm sure we can have an even more impressive display this year! Everyone is encouraged to submit high quality, amazing shots of their puffers for review and potential display on the calendar.

Entries must be in focus, not grainy and, to put it simple, GREAT PHOTOS! I know you guys can take them, I've seen you show them off in your albums, in the photo forum and in the POTM contests, here's your chance to get them included in our very own Puffer Forum collection so they can be enjoyed year round!

These photos will be enlarged to at least 8x10", possibly larger. As of now, I am not going to set a guideline for a minimum file size, but ideally photos taken with a 5mp camera or better will work best. I will do some touch up work, so don't be afraid to submit a photo because of a small flaw.

All submissions must include:
1. Title of the photo, or a brief description of the subject, example: "South American Puffer exploring water sprite"
2. How you would like your name displayed if your photo is chosen. This can be your forum name, your real name or a combination of both. Using myself for an example: Photo courtesy of Myaj OR A.Janecek OR A.Janecek aka Myaj

The deadline for all submissions is October 31st, 2007! This is so the final edits can be finished and the product up in the store early enough for Christmas shopping and the New Year. This gives you over two months people, but the earlier you get them submitted, the sooner they will be prepared and ready to go online, so don't hesitate, start sending in those photos now!

Send all entries to amy__jane@msn.com. Forum members may submit as many entries as they like, the more the better! All species are welcome! The puffers in your photos do not have to be your own, but you do need to be the owner of the photograph. By submitting your photo to the email address above, you give The Puffer Forum the right to use the image on products in The Puffer Store. A small profit from all products sold will be used to help cover the administrative costs of keeping The Puffer Forum running. As most of you know, The Puffer Forum is paid for by generous donations of the members, and the management team really appreciates every bit you guys contribute to help keep us going.

This is a great way to help support The Puffer Forum and get yourself some cool stuff at the same time! If you haven't checked out The Puffer Store yet, take a look one of these days! And be on the look out, there are new designs in the works that should be released soon!

However, I can help with graphics, as I have always offered. I am fluent in 3D programs as well.
