HTTPS/SSL
Pretty soon we are going to be adding SSL to the site. SSL is that little green padlock that you see before the www in the browser. It encrypts the connection and makes it secure. I am in the process of finding a way to proxy the external images embedded with the img tags through the site server so there are no mixed content warnings. Once I get that set up and running, I will enable SSL and start redirecting all traffic through HTTPS. I will post when I enable SSL.

Re: HTTPS/SSL
Sounds great! However I have no idea what any of that means lmao!
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Re: HTTPS/SSL
Go to my site. It is https://www.utahfishkeepers.us. See that little green padlock in front of the URL and see how it connects through HTTPS and not HTTP? That is SSL. That means the site has a certificate issued to it from a trusted certificate authority and that encrypts the connection.bertie 83 wrote:Sounds great! Re: HTTPS/SSL
I have enabled SSL. I am still working on redirecting all traffic through HTTPS, so if the site appears to be down just clear your cache.
