you could always keep your current host and and just pay the renewal fees for the tech support (which is minimal).
It also comes with a gallery option so there is no code bridging

IP Board is NOT cheap if you don't go with their hosting.. we'd end up paying more to pay all their fees and our host, plus still have to do the work. I'd rather have them deal with the tech problems!

No it wasn't cheap to purchase... I think I paid about $500+ for mine with the ongoing support (billed every 6 months).
