Hello,

I'm not sure how to treat my puffer for an internal parasite. He's stopped growing fast and he's only 2 Inches long. Had him for 4 months now. When I got him I was told he didn't have any internal parasites.

His waste comes out stringy and beaded.

I live in Ontario, Canada so I've been having trouble locating a source for any internal parasite medication. The only vet in my area charges a $150 Consulting fee and then a fee for the medication and a check up. Not sure how they can even perform a checkup or any consultation.

If anyone has any ideas for other ways to get rid of this internal parasite please share them.

I have not, I'm in the US but it was recommended on a worldwide puffer group I'm in.
