I'm again seeing some ich, it's on the smaller, more skinny puffer of the 2. Could it be the stress of the daily water changes? Although I did so with equal temperature water then the tank. I've added the devider today that should also help in case of stress.

I've upped the temp again. But I'm thinking of using some ich medication this time, it seems I need a more aggressive approach than the salt.

The meds suggest to dose 1 time, a 80%waterchange the next day and then repeat after a few days if necessary.
I'm thinking of doing half a dose to start.

Sera protazol, the shop had positive experience with this medicine and SAP's.
You dose the medication as suggested and do an 80% waterchange after 24 hours unless the water gets cloudy then you need to do the wc immediately. Repeat after 4-5 days if necessary.

I did the full dose 2 days ago, so the wc was yesterday. They seem to tolerate it well, both are eating and can't see any visible negative effects so far.

It seems to be a pretty persistent strain, one of them still has about 3 little dots now 3 days after I added the meds.
I guess I’ll need to do a second treatment tomorrow. :(

After the second treatment there was no more visible ich, so tomorrow I’m moving them out of the quarantine tank. I’m hoping that the added stability of the bigger tank and the less cramped conditions will prevent the ich form resurfacing.
