Hey everyone, i recently bought 5 cm Figure of 8 Puffer, just today as i was preforming 30% water change I noticed a black spot with a white inside about 5mm across on his belly near his mouth. i'm completely new to puffers but i have kept other tropical fish for over 10 years.
PH:7.2
Nitrite:0.5ppm
50 litre tank, hes on his own
ive been feeding him crushed trumpet snails, live rams-horn snail and frozen blood-worms and he takes it greedily
i preform a 30% water change weekly
the fish has been in the tank for 10 days, however the tank itself has been set up for twice that long, i have added about 15 litres of water from my other fish tank initially to speed up the cycling process, that tank, just contains Guppy's, Gouronami, Kuli loachs, a fighting fish, some shrimps and neon tetra non of which are showing any problems
Im buying some clove oil asap so i can take a good picture and show you guys as the little bugger refuses to stop moving

thank you!

Hes eating very happily still and the spot has appeared to shrunk still present though struggling to source clove oil as i live fairly far from civilisation and my camera cant take a decent picture.

You can certainly find CO online?
Also, in the toothpaste isle of the drugstore.
