Does anyone have experience with the Finnex FugeRay, FugeRay Planted +, or LED light fixtures the Finnex Ray 2 Actinic LED light strips?
The application would be for a 40g Breeder Fowlr. Other suggested lighting options would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

I would definately look into reviews of these lights. Good quality LED can be $$$ & many have failed.

I have the 48inch Mr aqua led fixture and find it to be a great bang for the buck it has 8000k bulbs and many of them I have been running it problem free for around 1.5 years and the unit is competitive to finnex ray but beware of many low quality rip offs I grow medium light plants with no problems
good luck

I have heard great things about current usa's led strips. They have several ranges including planted, marine white, and two types of actinic. But these are a little more diy. You would need to purshase power supply, splitter (if your running more than one strip), and dimmer ( if you want to dim) all separately.

What are you planning on keeping in the tank? Are you going to plant it or fish only?
I'm a huge fan of Finnex, I have Finnex fixtures on 4 of my seven tanks.
The Stingray is a great low output light, good for fish only or low light tanks, the fugeray is good for medium light, Ray 2 is a bit of a monster with output, but you have to be careful because they both can become algae factory lights, and the Planted + is a good medium light for plants due to the addition of the specific red LEDS.
