Vortech question

Post by Welch4 »

So i have been pondering getting an mp10 for my 40 long to replace my koralias. What i was wondering... my gsp loves to play in the current of my biggest koralia. He will swim right up to the grille then float back in the stream. Over and over. I know the vortechs have a much wider flow. Will it provide him the same experience or should i leave his favorite koralia in and add the mp10?

Now that ive done more research on the vortechs ive stumbled accross the some of the other dc wavemakers on the market. Does anyone here have an experience with the jebao or tunze wavemakers, or know of a comparison article out there?

I got in the Jebao group buy with my local reef club. <3 em! Keep in mind, parts are hard to come by. I bought extra impellers & controller.

I run a few jebaos, no problems yet only been running them for a around a year though.

Retun flow from a single jebao wp40 @40% in a 120 fatboy (only pump running during the vid, it is upper right blowing across, this is just the backflow along the middle/bottom)...
