aquarium heater

my 200 watt heater is working but the light either doesnt come on or it flickers?? does this mean its on its way out?
i know its working because obviously its hot but it also clicks when it goes on and off and i can hear it on when i get real close.

There could be several reasons, I would replace it just to be safe. I also would not put my hands in there whilst it is on incase its a loose connection
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

BettyBoo; I have had a heater blow that was making noise lol-unplug it and get new. Do not take a chance. As Bertie; say's please do not put your hands in.You may get a very bad shock. And your fish might get fried. river-7

I've never had an Ebo-Jager heater fail in 20 years of using them. I beleive Eheim owns them now, appears to be the same product. Tried many brands but always go back to Ebo's.
