its about a 60/40 split sand and crushed
still working on correcting my coworkers overfeeding habits :P
also not sure if you seen my leopard before but i believe its changing sex its been an interesting transformation of colors.

If at all possible, I'd change out that substrate to sugar-sized sand & don't touch it. Lots of beneficial creatures live in live sand. Leopard wrasses like to burrow in it but CC may cut their delicate skin.

leopard has a unique way for sure of burying self damage himself no.. he kinda puts it in reverse flicks his fins and creats a cloud then lies down and sand falls on him ill try and get a video of it someday..

on another note i was wondering if its possible to run my rodi in the sump?. as a 24/7 filter

NO! An RO/DI water system removes all nutrients, minerals, and vitamins... most of which are essential for marine life. Doing so would crash your system.
It would also remove ALL of your salt from your water, and I don't think i have to explain the importance of salt in a saltwater tank.

LOL! I agree w/GSPFreak. That would be a fast trip down the drain.

In theory, removed tank water could be reprocessed, but it would be far more costly than processing tap water and hard on the membrane (cutting lifespan much shorter).

virtually 0 Pufferpunk,
this morning i had a catastrophic failure tho :( venturi valve on one of my skimmers (just after recirculating pump) split in half over night draining about 150 ish gallons on the floor.. fricken sucks. makes me want to put the skimmers back in the sump argg luckily the inhabitants didnt get too stressed.
