55 Gallon GSP Tank. What do you think?

Post by MelissaKaye »

This is our 55 gallon green spotted puffer tank, it's still a work in progress. We're are enjoying our two GSPs that share this tank, we've named them Mondo and Fugu. In the tank with them we have three "feeder" crayfish....wait, make that two crayfish and two fiddler crabs. We know they will get eaten at some point but we're big believers in our GSPs having live food to catch and kill themselves. Please feel free to give us feedback on our tank set up!

Thank you.... I love your quote! It is really easy to keep up an aquarium if you do your weekly maintenance. We do a 25% water change, vacuum the substrate, scrub the inside of the glass and turn up the substrate once a week. In all I think it takes us 20 minutes on Thursday mornings and our water values are alway perfect!

No, if your test are fine then it's not 100% necessary. We do recommend 50% weekly but there are lots of variables involved. I am a little OCD, all of my tanks get the same treatment and are generally way understocked. It's just the way I roll lol
