My 33 gal Reef

Post by Blaine »

This is a really poor quality vid of my 33 gal reef tank. Current tenants are a pair of Ocellaris clowns (Sid n' Nancy), a damselfish named Dave, and a fancy guppy named Ruiz

I was thinking the same thing, it looks as large as a 125!

what do you have for filtration, anything other then the liverock and I assume a skimmer

Actually I have the same filtration on there as when it was a brackish tank. I don't have a sump so I kept the two AC70's and a Fluval 404 running. As long as you clean the filters regularly there are not really any issues.

There is about 50 lbs of LR and a Tunze DOC skimmer plus a Koralia Nano 425 for added flow. Also a pair of mangroves growing out of the tank on the left corner.

My nitrates read between 10 and 20

I bet if you removed those FW filters, your nitrate would go down. ;)

I'm considering getting a sump for the tank too. If so I will remove the 404
