A real catfish sleeps like this...

The first time I saw a catfish sleep on his back, it freaked me out totally, as I thought he was dead. And as it was one of my expensive zebra plecos, I didn't want to find one of them belly up. Even though I've now seen this over and over again, it still scares me a bit when I see one on its back. :scared:

Heehee, that's great!
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Ours do that too!

Scared us as well
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Looks like he was stuck onto the underside of the log & fell off.

I think that's exactly what happens. They suck onto something, then fall asleep, and then lose grip while sleeping.

I have come to notice weird things like this happen with my GSP's when they sleep. I caught one of them this morning sleeping with its tail curled around a plant and it was dangling in the current. Weirdest thing I ever saw.
