A crowntail that needs to be moved away from the guppies.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

He really needs to move. Guppies are BAD betta tankmates.

Long, colorful fins signal that they are other bettas, so the real betta gets very territorial and either attacks or hides.

I haven't had that experience as of yet. When I got the tank it was already populated with guppies and the Betta. The Betta does get out and explore and leaves the guppies alone for the most part. Whether he is happy or not is a totally different story.

Anyway... here is his new home and my little helper :D

Not going to lie, he's pretty ugly
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.
