JUNE 2011 - Puffer of the Month ::WINNER ANNOUNCED::

- Age (if known): unknown
- Size: 8cm
- Brief description:

- Species: Green Spotted Puffer
- Name of Puffer: Bloat, or Puff depending on who you ask
- Age (if known): unknown…had it for 3 weeks bought from Wal-mart
- Size: 2 inches
- Brief description: - Photograph taken in my home aquarium. No tank mates. Water is mildly brackish

- Species: Tetraodon Biocellatus
- Name of Puffer: Figgy
- Age (if known): I've had him since May 15, 2011.
- Size: about an inch and a half including tail
- Brief description: My first figure 8 living in a 20 gallon with 2 Bumble Bee Gobies. He is always looking for food!

-Name of Puffer: Balki Bartakamous
Age : Not sure
-Size: 2.5"
-Brief description: -Balki lives with a creamsicle lyretail molly, Orangjello, in a FOWLR tank. He curls up and takes spontaneous naps while hunting the liverock and sand for pods.

Species - Tetradon Nigrovidrus AKA Green Spotted Puffer
Name- Lenny
Age- Unknown (He has been in my care approx 11 months.)
Size- 2.75 inches (Including Tail)
Description- Lenny is hanging out begging for his monthly treat of a pinkie mouse (frozen and thawed) that I usually drop right at that spot. He is an energetic little guy, but not aggressive at all. He peacefully shares his 29g brackish setup with some ghost shrimp and one tiny guppy fry. He even has some pond snails that he lets live, some of them, heh heh. The background/foreground of the shot are photoshopped for effect but Lenny is "all natural". He is currently a little depressed from losing his GSP buddy Georgia, so cheer him up and send a vote his way!

- Age (if known): Unknown, i bought him in the late fall of 2010
- Size: about 5 inches
Hes a lurker, but compared to mine M Palembang, hes abit moore shy, and usally during daytime he like to hide behind the big roots in my 63 US Gallon tank.
In the night time he become moore active and swim around hunting for food, He likes to eat worms,bloodworm,snails (small crushed) and other insects eggs/larva (ex. maggots) from own breeding.
In the beginning he puffed a few times (he looked like a tennisball) if he got spooked and when we did waterchange,he was abit jumpy.
Now hes cool with it, he loves hes daily routine, and we try not to mess to much with hes routine, we understand each other

Descriptioin: In a tank with 2 other GSP's who were using teamwork to eat a fiddler crab!

Size: 2 3/4"
Description: A rare picture of Camille and her pretty little tail.

Description: This pic was taken a year ago in her brackish 30 gallon before moving to her current 55 gallon marine.

- Size: Looks to me like an adult at about 45 cm (judging by the schooling fish)
- Brief description: Found during a daytrip to a diving site outside of hurghada in egypt back in 2004.

29 Gallon Marine tank, with refugium, skimmer. Base rock, coral skeletons. Stock: Baby Ocellaurus Clown, young Saddled Toby, 3 Hermit crabs,one 2 inch Bristle Worm, hitch hiking starfish.
10g Biotope. 3 C. Travancoricus (Dwarf Puffer) Some Ghost shrimp, gravel/sand substrate, heavily planted with Swords and Java Moss.
10g LR Culture Tank. 10+ pounds fiji LR / base rock. Assorted hitch hiking inverts
Some FW tanks.
In My Experience, Fishkeeping is like Cooking. Five or ten basics will keep anyone from getting sick. But to be truly magnificent... You have to know the right Recipies.

The GSP I had years ago slept just like Balki, all curled up. I still remember the first time I saw him do it - I thought he was dead!

I have like a 350 dollar camera but I really don't know how to use it and get the best pics of an aquarium. Guess it's time to RTFM...

I work in the computer repair industry, so I deal with RTFM failures on a daily basis. I see a lot of ID:10-T errors as well.
