Wow, those are some excellent photos!
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Re: MAY 2010 POTM - VOTE NOW!!
Thanks to those who voted for mookie! I was distracting mookie to give the snail time to climb up the glass but then had to snap quickly, that snail did NOT stay around long!
There's some fun pictures this month, I had trouble deciding!

Re: MAY 2010 POTM - VOTE NOW!!
Such a tough choice! Great pictures everyone! I had to go with the one with the amazing detail of the GSP eye. I can't believe how much you can see the different layers in the eye! Truly astonishing! Sure we can't vote more than once though?

Well, remember, if a picture didn't win, it can always be re-entered in a later month!

I'm VERY impressed by everyones pictures! I almost didn't vote for my own (thanks SammyDee for voting for it!). Haha.
I know it won't win, but I'm no quitter. Besides, I have a brand new orange congo puffer to photograph!
