Hi,
I just got two figure 8 puffers today, so I fed them some freeze dried bloodworms 20mins or so after they were acclimated and released in the tank. (For reference the tank is 20 gallons, nitrates are at 10 ppm, ammonia and nitride 0ppm) One of them is already eating very eagerly, but the other keeps pacing the glass. It ate a little, but not much. Should I be worried? The tank does have a huge driftwood with lots of holes and hiding places, and 6 plants.
Also, I dropped a snail into the tank, but they didn’t even bother looking at it. Sorry if this is a silly question but is that...normal??
Lastly, I read that f8s are wild-caught so they might have parasites. What are the symptoms of that?
Thanks!
