Water change and 3-week holiday
Hi guys! I have a 100L tank with two juvenile GSP. I'm planning a holiday away for 3 weeks, and I'll ask my friend to feed my fish. They have been happy and healthy, and the longest period was 2 weeks without a water change. But would it be OK not to do a water change for 3 weeks? Thanks in advance!

How large are those puffers? Filtration? Will you be having someone feeding them?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

The puffers are 2inches each and I have a friend to feed them. I'm planning to ask her to feed them every 3 days, and will ask her to add 10L saltwater in the second week.Pufferpunk wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 5:54 pm How large are those puffers? Filtration? Will you be having someone feeding them?
I'm using a filter for up to 200L. I also have two 50L filters, do I need to use these three together?

Your tank is much too small for these fish & the water will pollute very quickly. Filters do not remove pollution, it stores it. Why would you have her add SW to the tank? What SG is it now?

Yeah I'll ask my friend to add salt water to the tank. The SG is 1.010 now. Thanks

Please do not do that. If anything they should add fresh RO water. Your cycle is precarious at best in this seriously overstocked tank.
