How much do gsp spots deviate usually?

Hi, I'm new to this forum but not to fish keeping. I recently acquired a new gsp which is getting along swimmingly with my current one in a 65 gallon tank. Ive noticed the spots on my new puff aren't the normal spots I usually see on gsp's. I wanted to make sure that they are indeed the same species or at least compatible.

Cool beans, thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't poisoning a fw puffer with brackish.

It’s a different way of showing he’s stressed. I wouldn’t be surprised if this GSP died by now, unless you moved him into his own Tank. I know from experience.
