Puffers hooked on krill

Post by Toolfan »

Well, I made the mistake of giving my puffers krill. On tank has a gsp and a Toby, the other has a baby fahaka. Since I started giving them krill, they refuse anything else. I’m making some cubes made of bloodworms krill and silverside, to try to fix this. Think it will work? Any other ideas? Should I just not give them krill until they get hungry enough to eat something else?
Thanks for any help.

You might have to starve them a few days to get them to eat something else. Try live worms. Most puffers can't resist that.

My little puff totally addicted to krill. Usually have to do the live, wiggling earthworms to break him off krill.
