DPs and planaria

Hi, new here.
I have a 100 liters tank very heavely planted with 4 DPs, 11 Corydoras nanus and 4 Chlamydogobius eremius with good relationship at the moment.
I give DPs freezed bloodworms and marine fish eggs and alive Daphnia wich they eat without problem.
In the tank there is a Planaria population witch grow or decrease along the time. At this moment there is a small quantitity, at least when lights are open. I have never seen my DPs searching them or attempting to eat them. Has anybody DPs wich predates towards Planaria?

I don't think so. Planeria is a sure sign of overfeeding/undercleaning.

I know why Planaria appears. Does anybody know why DPs don't attack Planaria, if they don't?

Have you seen other fish eat them?

Seriously picoverd, the key to dealing with this is to change the conditions that are supporting them.
Clean the place up.
Also, your tank is grossly overpopulated.
Thin out the herd.
It's all about the fish!

I have not a problem with Planaria and my tank it is not overpopulated. Do you know the size from these fish? About Planaria its presence it is very small and has decreased because I solved some problems with my filtration. If I started this topic is because I am curious about why DPs don't predate them because I have heard that other fish do. So, I don´t own DPs because I want that they eliminate Planaria. So, it is clear now for me that you don´t have the response and, like me, don't know the answer.

No, but I have read: "Josh Davis, President of Live Fish Direct, says that the following fish are known to eat Planaria, although he asserts that almost any fish will eat them: angel fish, fat heads, gambusia, orangethroat darters, redbelly dace, sand shiner, central stoneroller, freshwater blue and pearl gouramis, guppies, goldfish, common blowfish, mollies, tiger barbs, betta fish, pelvicachromis pulcher and paradise fish."

Interesting... Not a clue why the DPs don't eat them.

Erich. I gotta stop the fight.

DETRITUS worms are from over feeding. Planaria are thick flatfish red worms and they aren’t naturally found in tanks. I rescue and rehab, have done it since my first fish, and they CAN hurt little fish.

Thanks for explaining what is Planaria, but we already know. And what is naturally found in tanks? A fish that jumps to it?

Why the sarcasm? Do you think we might have better use of our free time, than to answer questions tinged with negativity?

My fish are healthy, not overpopulated, I do water changes, I take care from my fish and I just want to know if anybody has seen his DPs predates towards Planaria. If you don't have the answer, please stop giving me advices wich look like I am not taking care to my fish. Thanks.
