Good Morning ladies and Gents,
Living in Greenville and just setup a 55 gallon tank for 2 Leopard puffer fish I feel that I have excellent water circulations with a 100 gallon air pump and a Sun Sun Canister filter. I have purchased 2 Java Ferns to entertain the puffer fish and looking to find someone hopefully around the area with some freshwater snails. To see if I could snag some for a farming tank.
I have been deeply investigating puffer fish and the water quality never owned a puffer fish but worked with African cichlids in my Dad's tank and I've had a community tank in the past.
Salinity: 0%
I just got 2 Green spotted puffers setup in a 55 gallon tank, running a "Sun Sun 403 cannister filter" two air lines and a 100gallon air pump.
I've been treating the tank with paragaurd as one was showing signs of a black dot with a white looking substance possibly a worm.
I have tried feeding them Frozen blood worms and they were scared to come up to the surface to feed on them, but when the worms dropped they ate them happily also tried feeding them frozen Kril and today they sort of attempted to eat out of my hand.
They are very skittish of my and my hands in the tank what would you suggest I do to fix this issue?
