Hey all, quick question. My friend just got a "Fangs" puffer, which after spending hours and hours of researching (mostly here, but all over too) I really think she's got a juvi/subadult Leiurus (2"-3" currently). I have a juvi Fangs sitting right next to me as I type, and I can assure that ain't what she's got! The snout, color, placing of ocelli, body shape, and comparison of ocelli to other spots (in addition to the spotting and color of the belly) don't match the Turgidus, Cochinchinensis, Abei, Cutcutia, or others.
Hypothetically, if someone WERE to have a Leiurus- which have not been in the hobby for some time, what would one be worth if sold these days?
What's a real Leiurus' worth?
