I used DISH SOAP to clean my tank! HELP!!!
I used DISH SOAP to clean my tank! HELP!!!
Im brand somewhat new to the hobby and i havent even gotten my puffer yet (thank god) but im prepping the tank for its arrival. I used to keep a hamster in this 25 gallon tank and so it really needed a big clean after that. i made the mistake of using dish soap which i now know was wrong. there isnt any visible residue on the tank and it looks clean to me. im still worried none the less any advice???

Yeah, a light bleach solution or Oxyclean would have been better. Just rinse, rinse, rinse!
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

take it outside and give it a thorough blast with the garden hose
