I used DISH SOAP to clean my tank! HELP!!!

Post by wieny »

Im brand somewhat new to the hobby and i havent even gotten my puffer yet (thank god) but im prepping the tank for its arrival. I used to keep a hamster in this 25 gallon tank and so it really needed a big clean after that. i made the mistake of using dish soap which i now know was wrong. there isnt any visible residue on the tank and it looks clean to me. im still worried none the less any advice??? :!:

Yeah, a light bleach solution or Oxyclean would have been better. Just rinse, rinse, rinse!

take it outside and give it a thorough blast with the garden hose
