Does anyone know why puffers love garlic? Not something they would encounter in the wild, right? Just because it is so delicious?

They do? lol. Do you feed them raw garlic in your tank? If so, I may have to try it and see what they think! Haha

No, fresh (uncooked) shrimp thawed in garlic water. Heard about it on this forum. Ollie goes even more nuts for it than for the plain shrimp (which he super loves).

I'm interested to know why as well. Think I'm going to DIY my own extract, it'll probably be a fraction of the price of the stuff you can buy from the likes of seachem.

Just dice a clove of garlic & soak the fish't food with it in water. You could out it in a tea strainer or a piece of nylon stocking, so you don't have to pick the pieces out.
