Colomesus asellus and Figure 8

Post by Snowevil »

Hello

I have a question.

Is it possible to maintain three asellus Colomesus with a small figure 8 in a 40 gallon tank ?

(80 cm long x 35 cm wide x 55 cm high)

Sorry for writing, I am from Spain.

No because they require different water types. Amazon puffers are freshwater fish , f8 are brackish for starters. Plus puffers should not really be mixed
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

I wouldn't consider 40 gallons to be adequate room for 3 South American puffers alone, either. They really do swim a LOT!

I agree--a 55g would be much better!

I read online, I might be wrong, but the rule on there is 29g per amazon puffer
