Hello,
I got 2 green spotted puffers recently named Fat Louie and Peanut. They're in a large tank with loads of plants, hiding holes/dens and rocks.
I give them a varied diet or clams, mussels, prawn, bloodworm, brine shrimp, cockles and snails but I want to provide more enrichment for them. Any ideas?
Thank You

You can always soak their foods in a good fish vitamin. I think earthworms are a great, red meaty food for them. You might want to back off on some feedings though--you don't want to kill them with kindness. This one looks to be quite round!
What's your feeding schedule?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

What pp said and also, the plants won't tolerate a move to saltwater... Gsps need to be transitioned from fresh to brackish to saltwater

Re: Enrichment for GSP's?
They get fed every day except 2 days are skipped a week! They are only 5 months old so feeding them regularly at the moment but in small quantity. Yeah the plants are just for now, to provide more coverage whilst they are settling in. My boyfriend works for Maidenhead aquatic so we've got everything else sorted. I was just wondering if anyone provides any other enrichment for theirs!
I tie their food to string sometimes and whizz it around the tank so they have to chase it and catch it, they seem to enjoy that!

Welcome to TPF. Love ur puffers' names. Haha!

I have a DP, so due to their size may be a little challenging. Love your idea of making them work for their food.
