Thank god i found this forum

Post by boosted23 »

I am sittin at home and decided to browse google to see if there were different puffer forums to browse through. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!! I am in awe of what i have been reading!!!! I have read that fahaka puffers have been housed in 90 gallon over crowded tanks, a person telling that person that that is no good but then telling them that fahaka's need brackish water.. Then i read someone wanting to put their puffer in a hamster ball in the tank during feeding cause of their aggressive nature.....

I am so glad i stumbled on to this site first to get my info on how to care for my puffer cause i do NOT want to be one of these misinformed morons!!! Thank you for your correct advice and knowledge on this forum everyone..

Lots of poor puffers out there... :( Did you correct any of them?

I would have if they were recent postings. Alot of these were from 2008-2010. The recent ones i had seen looked to be corrected by our board member terrance. If it is this terrance he is on a couple forums correcting misguided puffer owners already. :D

Thank God for Terrance! I use to be on about 20 different forums but couldn't keep up with it anymore.

+1. Many other forums seem to just recommend what is acceptable, whereas here you will get info to help make your little friends thrive and live long healthy lives.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
