We had a member here test it a while back, it seems it does work well
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Hi; BettyBoo; I know this post is a little old but i have used it 5-6-times about 4-years ago and had no problem with it. If you follow directions should work good for you.Everything remained stable until i tore down the tanks. Good Luck river

I added the bioload of 3 fist-sized GF to a tank with a singleton. Used the larger bottle of SS & absolutely no ammonia/nitrite spike.

There are a lot of people who don't believe it works because they've never tried it or had bad experience with it.

If you have fish in a uncycled tank, then its worth every penny IMO.
Kind regards,
Terrance

Have had great personal experience using it twice to instant cycle a tank. I think people that have trouble with it may not have used it as directed on the bottle. If you only add it right before the fish are thrown in and pour it into the filter box then don't do a wc for 48 hours then it should work just fine. Monitor perimeters closely and use prime to dechlorinize the water.

i used it wilst fishless cycling with pure ammonia.i dont believe in cycling with fish when theres a better and less harmful way and cheapre.my cycle took 3 weeks instead of my usual 7 weeks.i dont think its worth the risk doing it with fish.ive heard some good and bad stories.
