Thanks for the link PufferPunk.
And the advice is appreciated Kiamose, I'll read up on IPs now, unsure of what they are.
And yeah, it is very expensive, but hopefully worth it in the end.

IPs are internal parasites.

I have a question, yesterday I used the recommended dose of Aqua Care water treatment to get rid of the chlorine in the water, it said it gets rid of it instantly, however today the water still smells of chlorine, what should I do?

I'm sorry to be of no help regarding the aqua care treatment, but all I know of that is any good is prime, people hear sware by it, you can buy it from all good LFS and Internet, but like I said I'm not familiar with aqua care as I use RO water as I have my own system and marine fish so don't need to treat for chlorine, sorry for being useless, but prime I think does it all, even though I use RO I still use prime.

Just bought some bog wood today (Made sure it was smooth with no sharp edges) a nice artificial plant. I'm planning to buy 2 marimo moss balls (they're about 3-5cm) and maybe 1 or 2 real plants, then I'll see how it is, if it's overcrowded i'll leave it.

The only good thing in Peterborough in England is the water zoo, it's an aquatic shop and sells marine, tropical and cold, they have a beautiful display aquarium with the most beautiful huge puff, they are a brill shop as they quarantine all stock for two weeks before they sell, and they can get most things, we love it there.

Nope. I go to Peterborough for my fish stuff most of the time. There or Toronto. Belleville has got jack squat, the next good one is in Trenton but that is too far to drive.DGabbs wrote:Oh your from Bancroft? I just live over in Peterborough. Oh ok, what fish store do you go to in Peterborough. Before i just went to pet-a-rama, but there is a new place in Bridgnorth now, and i find its much better for custom orders. Thats where i go now. It's not really a pet store, its mainly centred around fish.J-P wrote:

When I do, I go to Red-Fish Blue-Fish. I don't know if they are still open as they weren't doing so well last summer (my last visit).

Ya red fish blue fish is still around. They are in that strip mall on Chemong road across from the dairy queen-country style combo. Its a really small store now, i think the old one was bigger.J-P wrote:When I do, I go to Red-Fish Blue-Fish.
