You could try some floating plants.

They're GSPs.

Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

could be the brightness of the light. i know my GSP didnt like when i had to change the bulb on my 75 from it flickering. he was stressed for a bit and would hide almost all day for two or three days. just make sure he has plenty of hiding spots and water is good, if those things are good i would definitely lean towards the lighting unless you change that and still no change in color

More cover/hiding spots would shadow more of the tank. Many fish dislike wide-open spaces if they don't have a nice dark safe nook close by at all times, so it's important to make sure he has "safe zones" throughout the tank. In fact, fish that hide a lot frequently start spending more time in the open once you give them more hiding spots.

I can get my wife to watch really scary films... If she has a blanket to hide under. True story. We are not so different it seems

You can buy cheap plastic plants & take off the planting anchor. They make em as long as 3'.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
