Best book I've found is Dr Ebert's Aqualog book: The Puffers of Fresh & Brackish Waters.
But really, the best info you'll ever need can be found right here.

+1 aqualog is the most comprehensive one currently on the market . Great lot of colour photos , although it does lack somewhat on the literacy side of things imo .
