Missing shrimp
lol so i decided i was gonna let my 2 ceylons play with a couple ghost shrimp and i watched the shrimp run and hide under the rock where my puffers cant get them. i put em in about 4 hours ago and they are still nowhere to be found but cheeto and dot dont look like they have eaten at all. guess what im trying to ask is should i start tearing apart my aquarium to get them out befor they die and make a mess or should i just let them hang out and see what happens?

Leave em alone. They most likely are hiding, waiting for dark to come out.
And even if they did die I dont think a couple of ghosts are going to do any harm

LoL I actually put the two tiniest ghost shrimp in Pz's tank when I first got her....she couldn't find them, and even then, they were a tad big for her. She chased them, but never caught them. One of the shrimp survived, and he's now huge, and he is a good FW clean up crew for PZ when she doesn't eat all of her blood worms =)
5.5g: Pond snails
5.5g: Red Cherry Shrimp and Rams
10g: PZ the Pee Wee (DP), Ghost shrimp, Otos x3
36g: Luau the F8, Zebra nerites x8, sometimes a herd of ghost shrimp for food
60g: Perches the starry blenny, 1 watchman goby Snaps the l.c. hermit, 2 emerald crabs, 1 red crab, 2 turbos, 7 asteas, 2 nerites, 2 clown gobies and 2 firefish gobies (upgrading to a 90 gallon reef)

¿and why should the ghost shrimps die? they live in both, FW and BW, and can be with out food for more than 15 days...

thanks RVS i was only aware of them being FW and my tank is being converted to BW atm thats why i thought the would suffer and die under the rocks

I can't imagine either of them would look very full eating a GS. they're mostly water.

Ghosts can live in every kinda water. I have some in my FW tanks and 4 living with Bacon in full SW

Yeap, for all i know GS do best in BW (1.006 - 1.018), they are beautiful animals, and male adults become transparent green or blue, i´ve a 3" green one.

Why not leave them in. They make a good cheap cleanup crew, while they last. If your puffers have no interest in them even better. They will spend all day eating scraps and crud

Thats what I did in all 3 of my tanks. Tossed in a handful into each tank and let the puffers eat what they wanted. My 2 FW tanks have 1 each and my SW tank has 4 of em cleaning all day long
