Re: Wet Web Media Forums
I was asked to Mod on there but I don't think I have the time. I've been on their Crew for the past 4 years but deleted my name from there too. Bob Fenner doesn't even miss me!

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
When you say you deleted your name do you mean you like canceled your account completely? Cause I am trying to work out if there is way to cancel an account on a forum (not this one ) but don't know if it is actually possible? Is it or do you have to like e-mail the administrator and everything?Pufferpunk wrote:I've been on their Crew for the past 4 years but deleted my name from there too.

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
Nope, just removed my name from their Crew list (it has private access). I'm sure I coudl add it back any time. I suggest contacting a Mod or Admin & ask them to delete your acct.

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
Yeah. The forums need a bit of work but they are still pretty good.
They just need to make it more appealing to the eye.

Ok thanks i've sent an email so hopefully I have done it right (knowing me I have even managed to mess that up some how)Pufferpunk wrote:Nope, just removed my name from their Crew list (it has private access). I agree it could be a bit more pleasing to the eye. I really love the layout of this site. It's so easy to use and looks great too!pufferfreak wrote:Yeah. The forums need a bit of work but they are still pretty good.

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
Wow, Wet Web Media is actually moving up into current times instead of using their old fashioned system?
Awesome!
Its such a good source of information and help, but such an UGLY site and hard to read. Its nice to see they're finally updating.
Chin, are they going to do a live chat instead of the email back and forth thing? Then post the transcrips of the live chats.. to keep the same sort of "feel". Or are they just going to do regular messages?

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
I think that Bob wants to keep the messages the same way on the site. But as far as navigation it will definitely be much easier to read and browse. I am not sure how the forum part of the site will be...as I have never actually been on there (I have enough of those to worry about), so not sure if change is incorporated for them or not. I am excited to see this project unfold in the next couple of months.

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
Definitely I don't like the way you have to look through all the blue links. There is no order, but then when you find what you want it is so useful! The layout just lets it down a bit.Myaj wrote:Its such a good source of information and help, but such an UGLY site and hard to read. Its nice to see they're finally updating.

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
WetWebPhotos is only the forum section of WWM. They will still keep the Q&A email section seperate, along w/the FAQ & article section..

Re: Wet Web Media Forums
Well, I just hope they organize it more. What an insane job though.. A lot of work, even if they have a lot of people working on it!
