Darn, I was going to offer you my supplier but he's in California. I'll ask him if he knows anyone in the UK.

He says to try Pier Aquatics or something like that. They carry a lot of oddball fish.

@Pufferpunk - thanks so much for the lead. I have put some feelers out to various places and they are making enquiries, I haven't tried this one yet.

Thank you again :)

@Pufferpunk - ohhh have you got posts in the freshwater section on them? I will have to go stalk. Also will post my options

Have contacted Pier Aquatics and they said last time had them about £90 though looking if can get them again - will wait to hear.

Have had another place response saying they can get them 7cm wild caught (fairly sure no domestics right?!) but will be fairly hefty price tag £280.

Have 5 other sources currently looking, one local has had them before so just waiting game.

I really really want at least one but trying to justify £280 price tag (as just bit worried if an unhealthy one when arrives)... hmmmm ponder time!

Yes, they definitely are NOT cheap! Mine were $125 ea + shipping. Just lost the littlest one today. :(

She's always been up front happy to see me, until last night. Found her dead today. Been having trouble getting them to eat much, other than worms.

I was worried about 1 of the 2 left, because I couldn't find him but he came out last night & they both ate well. I wish I could get them to eat other foods though.
