You could always adjust the color post-processing to match the natural color as close as possible.
I know in Irfanview, you can go under the image menu, and then color correction, you see if you can make it appear closer to real color.

Its a bunch of 1s and 0s, alligned in a certain fashion to make up information for whatever the file is. Super complex, but I'm going to school for the insides of computers and electronics so I understand it for the most part.
