Finally F8! Feather says hi

Post by Infinity8 »

After much pining and cycling, I finally picked up my little F8 a week ago! Had to drive about an hour to get him (not a whole lot of LFS around here), and almost didn't see him in the tank. Poor baby was hiding on the power head (the store had told me they had three...I'm guessing the other two were eaten by the Angelfish (?!?!?) gobbling down one of his brothers...) His fins were pretty nipped, but they are healing up nicely.

Needless to say he's been very timid for the first few days, but he's starting to come around and beg-dance more often. I thought I'd share some of the shots where he's held still for more than a second.

"My name is Feather!"

Up until today, he loathed the camera with an undying passion.

Feather's 20gal brackish tank, all to himself. I notice he's still pacing the glass at times. Suggestions?

Thank you! :) I'm thinking of adding some larger moss balls when I get a chance.

Adorable! I agree, nice setup.
