They didn't find their clams in the stomach but at the end they didn't want to give up.. They wanted to analyse the stool sample..
I am puzzled by the skinning as well. I was hoping that one of them gets poisoned in there.. at least the puffer is dead when they are doing that.. I have seen some pretty inhumane videos of animals skinned for their fur while alive online.. YouTube is a evil place..

Maybe the puffer was presaging on the clams predators? Starfish can eat them, large crabs would have a go I imagine. Notice they covered themselves saying that clamshell was in its beak when speared, if it was clam would be in its stomach. Bunch of liars if you ask me
