What are those striped fish, flying foxes? They don't belong in BW.

At least one had the stripe on the caudal fin as well which should make it a siamese algae eater. Some people claim they can do okay in very low brackish, I would take that to be 1.003 or below. The fish in the video don't appear to be suffering but I dunno what it will do to their lifespan as I've only kept them in freshwater myself.

Yes Tim, it is siamese algae eater. They are in tank more than 6 months and they looks healthy and happy there. I ll go down with salinity, so I think 1,003 1,005 will be good for them.

That does looks like quite some teeth he has there :P. How often do you feed them snails and other crunchy food?

I can't tell you whether he needs to be clipped or can still be helped via increased crunchy foods though.

Is that one also eating them or are the others mostly beating him to it.

They are not beating him, but he doesn't care about snails. He just swim around and keeps it. He eats only blood worms.

After our puffer's teeth are overgrown,no amount of crunchy foods will trim them back. You must cut them yourself: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/fwsubwebinde ... tistry.htm

Wasn't there a better way to sedate fish now instead of clove oil?
