Yes They're hidden under the skin when they're not puffing. I believe most puffers have spines actually. On GSPs you can see them as little white dots (kind of looks like ich, lol)El Scorpio wrote:What?? Spines! GSP's have spines??? :0

I've had a GSP for 8 or so years and not once did I ever notice spines on him. Makes me wonder if Camille has spines somewhere...

I have never seen or felt spines on my SAPs..... And they always puffed up during a trimming.
