Thats really cool, Ive heard mine chewing outside the tank but thats crazy hearing it from underwater.
Has he eaten any of his tank mates?

There are some little danio's which he eats now and then. But the whole purpose of those little fish (mostly a school of around 10) is to keep him active on the hunt and exercised. They are way to fast for him but sometimes their guard is down

It took Filbert almost a year to chew though all the guppies I was breeding in his tank for a SW predator.

HAHA thats funny as hell.
And makes me feel jipped with Bloat, all he ever does is lay on the bottom im pretty sure due to being blind in 1 eye
